The Scuola di Studi Superiori ‘G. Leopardi’ (University of Macerata) organizes the SAF / Advanced Training School titled “From Local to Global, and Back: The Many Lives of a Renaissance Scholar“. This first Renaissance Summer School which will take place in Macerata, Fermo and Sant’Elpidio a Mare from 9 to 12 September 2025.

Taking its cue from Andrea Bacci (1524-1600), his diverse work and the many milieus he happened to inhabit, this summer school will address a central topic in Renaissance culture: knowledge production and dissemination as a means of social transformation in a world that was widening its horizons by the day.
